George Mason University contracts with private firms to provide cleaning services. These contractors pay Mason’s cleaners punishingly low wages — far, far below what is required to live in Fairfax County. Contractors have also intimidated workers to stop them from organizing, a clear violation of labor laws. Click here for a news story on the conditions faced by Mason’s cleaners. Contact President Washington and demand a living wage for Mason’s contract workers!
